An aesthetic statement is an article or essay that describes who you are as an artist. In my case, it describes who I am as a writer. What I have posted here is an early version of my aesthetic statement. I wrote it while I was earning my MFA in Creative Writing. This is only a portion of the original, but it’s the most important.
